UK Young People Crippled by Student Debt

According to this article, students in the UK are being saddled with upwards of £50,000 worth of student debt.  1.8 million students owe £50,000 or more in student debt.  60,000 owe more than £100,000, and some even owe more than £200,000.

If you are a student or the parent of a student, and would like to avoid student debt, you need to download my ebook Shaking the Money Tree today.

I published Shaking the Money Tree some years ago, when student loans were first introduced in the UK and then trebled under the Conservative-led coalition, headed by David Cameron and the then Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.  I felt strongly that young people in Britain had been betrayed, as Clegg had promised during his election campaign to scrap student loans.  He  obviously reneged on his promise.

Of course, in the U.S., tuition fees are far higher than those in the UK.  In the U.S., student debt has been a fact of life, causing stress and pain, for many years. According to this article, student debt has been linked to financial instability, as well as problem drinking and mental health issues.

The experts I interviewed in Shaking the Money Tree give detailed instructions on how to raise finance for your education.

Download Shaking the Money Tree today, as I'll be increasing the price soon. At present, it still only costs US$5.

What Martin Lewis Doesn't Want You to Know

According to Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert website, the new Plan 5 student loan will increase many students' indebtedness by 50%.

Martin Lewis has positioned himself as a consumer champion.  I wrote to him some time ago about my Shaking the Money Tree ebook.  In Shaking the Money Tree, I interviewed experts on how to raise funding for college and university tuition, i.e. how to avoid incurring student debt.

Unfortunately, Lewis did not respond to my message. I did not even receive any acknowledgment from him or his team.

I will soon be updating Shaking the MoneyTree, which means I'll be charging more for it.  But at present, you can still download it for a mere US$5.  Go here to download it now.

£189,000 in Student Debt

That's right, it's official, the largest student debt accrued by a student in the UK is £189,000.  Go here to read about it.

Shoulda bought my book, that's all I can say about this.

I feel terrible about the fact that so many students are left with huge amounts of debt - and this is happening on both sides of the Atlantic.  See also:  Millennials Will Die in Debt - a prediction from Dr. Boyce Watkins of the Black Financial Channel.

I believe young people of today (of all racial and cultural backgrounds) are being robbed of their futures.  That is the main reason why I wrote Shaking the Money Tree.

Ever since the maximum universities in the UK can charge was raised to £9,000 per year, students have been acquiring mountains of student debt, some of which will never be paid off.  Of course, this has long been the case in the U.S., where there is NO maximum tuition fee.

Those who graduated in 2020 took out an average of £45,060 in student loans, but many of them ended up six figures in debt when you add in interest payments.  One student said that poorer students accrue the most debt.  Student debt has been called a "graduate tax".

My ebook, Shaking the Money Tree, explains how you can raise money for your tuition.  Go here to download it now, If you are a student, or you have a student in your life, you need to download it now before the price goes up.
